Safety first in the back seat it's child's play

Firefighters have been making sure youngsters are safe and secure in their car seats to mark Child Safety Week (24th - 28th June).

Blue Watch members at Gloucester South Fire Station Becky Fellows and Errol Westcarr help youngsters Louie and Evie Speck from Busy Bees Day Nursery in Quedgeley sit in their car seats safely and securely

Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership works closely with Gloucestershire's firefighters to ensure they are trained with the latest in car seat technology, to enable them to give advice to the public on securing the seats in their vehicles.

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service offers parents in the county advice and fittings for free throughout the year.
