By educating our children and young people in safety issues we not only make them aware of the dangers and consequences, but also allow them to make choices about their safety. At the same time we also inform parents and carers about keeping their family safe.
This on-line resource pack (links from the left of this page) is part of Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service's 'Children and Young People's Strategy' promoting the safety of children and young people; this involves working with children and young people through their education system, with voluntary and community groups and working with those who require a higher level of intensive intervention.

It is intended that teachers deliver this programme with support from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service. All resources have been aligned with the National Curriculum, Early Learning Goals, Every Child Matters National Outcomes, Healthy Schools Programme and the SEAL concepts.
