GFRS and your home

More people die from accidental fires in their homes than anywhere else in the UK. To combat this in Gloucestershire, our Community Fire Safety (CFS) programme is designed to raise awareness and provide information to people about the dangers of fire.

Currently, we are targeting those in our communities most at risk from fire - our children, the elderly and people with disabilities (a risk that can be increased if poverty is added to the equation).

Therefore, one of our CFS Team initiatives has been to foster and develop partnership working with other safety agencies, supporting lower income groups and community renewal projects.

You can find more information on fire safety advice on this website by clicking on the subject areas to the left.
