Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service recognises that the protection and safety of vulnerable adults, children and young people is everyone's responsibility. In relation to vulnerable groups protection, the approach GFRS will take is based on and reflects the principles of both UK legislation, guidance and other relevant GFRS instructions. It also draws upon procedures and advice issued in the Local Authority's Child Protection and Vulnerable Adults guidelines.

The site for the Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board (GSCB) is designed to be a helpful resource for all professionals working in the field of Child Protection, parents, carers, children, young people and others. This can be accessed via Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board (GSCB) Website.

If you would like information on Adult protection this can be accessed via Adults at risk: a service for the protection of vulnerable adults.
