When you see a fire engine rushing by, do you ever wonder what is inside that fire engine?

Fire engines are called to many different types of incident, and until they are on their way, they do not always know exactly what they will find when they arrive. For this reason, they must carry a wide range of tools and equipment to enable them to rescue people from many different situations.

If you move your pointer around the picture opposite, you will find links (your pointer will change into a hand) to various views of a fire engine. If you click on certain areas of these views, you will be able to explore just some of the things you will find on a modern fire engine.
