About Community Safety Advisors (CSA's)

Community Safety Advisors visit people in their own homes

Our team of advisers go out into the community to help the most vulnerable people in Gloucestershire stay safe.

The CSA's are based at fire stations all over the county ensuring that we can provide important safety advice to anyone that requests it.

Each of them go out into the homes of vulnerable people and give advice and provide practical support including home safety fire checks and fitting smoke alarms free of charge

They also work with Trading Standards and Gloucestershire Smoking Advisory Service giving advice and helping people quit or just ensuring they know how to stay safe when smoking at home. Most of their time will be spent out working in the community, but the team will also offer support for community safety initiatives such as at station open days.
