About Community Safety Advisors (CSA's)

Our team of advisers go out into the community to help the most vulnerable people in Gloucestershire stay safe.

The CSA's are based at the fire headquarters building at Waterwells, but each have their own patch of the county giving county-wide coverage.

Each of them go out into the homes of vulnerable people and give advice and provide practical support including home safety fire checks and fitting smoke alarms free of charge

They also work with Trading Standards and Gloucestershire Smoking Advisory Service giving advice and helping people quit or just ensuring they know how to stay safe when smoking at home. Most of their time will be spent out working in the community, but the team will also offer support for community safety initiatives such as at station open days.
